Are meetings free to attend / How do I become a member?

Meeting are free, thanks to our venue sponsors, Hitwise. There’s no cost to become a member – we don’t really have “members” as such; we’re a collection of PHP enthusiasts, developers, teachers and learners.

When’s the next meeting?

Meetings are typically on the second Thursday of every month. The homepage of this site should show the next meeting date and scheduled presenters. You can also join one of our mailing lists to stay informed or subscribe to this site’s RSS feed for up to date news and events.

Can I advertise a job position or search for a job?

Absolutely. You may join the main mailing list and send an email with your offer or request. Remember to include contact details so that anyone that is interested can contact you directly. NOTE: We do insist that you prefix the email subject with [Jobs] so that readers are aware of the content type before opening.

How will I find out if people are interested in my job offer or can offer me a job?

The organisers will not actively help you find someone or some job, other than in the capacity as any other list member. Once you have posted your offer or request to the list, list members might contact you with leads, suggestions, applications for a position or job offers. We provide no guarantee or additional service.
